Order changes

Bookings must be cancelled in writing. If you cancel up to 1 month before your booking date I will refund your deposit. Any cancellations within that month I will retain your deposit for costs incurred.

If you wish to transfer your order to another date there is no charge as long as the new date is available. If no suitable date is available please refer to the cancellation policy.

Allergens

Please contact me for specific allergen requirements but do note that I am not an allergen free kitchen. Any gluten-free or dairy-free cakes that I make are made in the same kitchen as my standard recipes so while every care is taken I cannot 100% guarantee no cross contamination.

It is your responsibility to inform me of any potential allergies at the time of booking.

I provide a form on collection that states all allergens present in the cake.

Collections

All cakes are collected from my shop within an agreed timeslot. I will have your cake ready for you to inspect. Once you are happy; it is securely boxed and I provide a form stating any allergens present, any non edible items or supports that need removed and aftercare instructions.

I also ask that you sign a customer declaration stating that the cake is decorated as agreed and that it is your responsibility once it is in your possession.

If you are unhappy with your order

On collection; in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your order please do let me know. It may be something that I can resolve while you are in the shop. If you have any problems once you have taken the cake away please contact me on 07462 931 003 or leah@copperheadcakes.co.uk and I will advise you on how to proceed.

Deliveries

I deliver and set up your wedding cake at the venue. If your cake requires any fresh/faux flowers or toppers added I will discuss that with you in advance to finalise exact arrangements or placement.

If I require any items in advance of delivery it is your responsibility to bring those to my shop and I will check those in your presence to ensure they are intact. Then it is my responsibility to ensure their safe transport to the venue and application on the cake.

If you are having fresh flowers you must organise that directly with your florist. I will then liaise with them closer to the date to discuss their delivery times to ensure that they have the flowers available when I arrive.

If you are unhappy with your order

In the unlikely event you are unhappy with your cake, please contact me on 07462 931 003 or leah@copperheadcakes.co.uk explaining any issues that you may have.
